Founder & CEO, Soulful Path

I'm JaChe Peaks, LMSW, a social worker, therapist, career coach, and the founder of Soulful Path. I earned both my Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Georgia State University, completing my BSW magna cum laude and continuing into the university's Advanced Standing MSW program. My professional experience has allowed me to work across several areas of social work, including behavioral health, individual therapy, medical social work, dialysis, corrections, crisis support, and career development.

I was drawn to this work because I've always been interested in what happens beneath the surface of people's lives—the experiences, systems, relationships, fears, and decisions that shape how we see ourselves and what we believe is possible for our future. Over time, I realized that my role was not only to support people through difficult moments, but also to help them recognize their strengths, identify what may be keeping them stuck, and create a realistic path forward.

My Philosophy & Approach

That vision became Soulful Path. I wanted to build something that recognizes that our mental health, careers, relationships, purpose, and overall quality of life are deeply connected. Soulful Path was created to provide a space where people can receive support while also gaining the tools, confidence, and direction needed to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, grief, a major transition, career uncertainty, or simply knows that something in their life needs to change, my goal is to help them move from feeling overwhelmed or uncertain toward greater clarity and intentional action.

A session with me is supportive, conversational, and genuine—but it is also purposeful. I believe therapy should be a place where you can talk openly and feel understood, while also learning more about yourself and developing practical ways to move forward. My style is solution-focused and strengths-based, and I am comfortable respectfully challenging patterns that may no longer be serving you. We may laugh, reflect, process difficult emotions, identify patterns, practice coping strategies, or create concrete next steps depending on what you need that day. I want clients to leave sessions not only feeling heard, but also feeling more equipped to navigate their lives.
